Islamic Studies Program at Surah Academy

In addition to Qur’an learning, students at Surah Academy are offered a variety of essential Islamic subjects, carefully tailored to their age and level of understanding. These subjects aim to provide learners with a well-rounded Islamic education that enriches their knowledge and strengthens their faith.

Subjects Offered

Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence):
Students study practical rulings related to acts of worship, including prayer, zakah, fasting in Ramadan, and other fundamental obligations.

Aqeedah (Islamic Creed):
This subject focuses on the foundations of belief in Islam. Students learn about faith in Allah, His angels, prophets, divine books, the Day of Judgment, and divine decree.

Tafseer (Qur’anic Interpretation):
Students explore the meanings of selected Qur’anic verses, study their context, and learn the reasons for their revelation. This helps them develop a deeper connection with the Qur’an.

Hadith Studies:
Learners are introduced to authentic sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), understanding their meanings and lessons, and how they apply to daily Muslim life.

Seerah (Prophetic Biography):
Students study the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), along with stories of other prophets and righteous figures, presented in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Flexible Study Options

Students can choose a complete curriculum covering all subjects, or select specific areas of interest based on their personal goals and needs.

Certification

Surah Academy awards certificates to students who successfully complete designated levels within each subject.
